In case any of you were wondering, these graphics are heavily edited versions of the sprites used for Mario's Cameo in SNES Super Scope 6: Lazer Blazer Intercept credit goes to Someguy of MFGG for ripping those out of the game. I also am aware that it is possible to get the unmodified SMW small Mario & Luigi graphics into the game through use of LuaLuna mods, however, I understand that there are several SMBX players out there who prefer the vanilla experience and/or are opposed to using or requiring others to use mods for their levels/episodes. However, SilverDeoxys563's sprites have there own set of problems, namely the fact that his sprites seem way too small compared to the actual hitbox and overall looking slightly disproportionate, but I digress. You may recall that I made some SMW small Mario & Luigi player sprites based off the SNES test program/SMW Beta graphics way back when. since we have a legit Luigi sprite for SMW style this time around. At least they fixed Luigi in the All Stars Re-Release pack. However, Luigi was also 'Green Mario' in Super Mario Worlds first release on SNES. I can't be the only one that's dissatisfied with the options currently available for SMW small Mario & Luigi graphics, right?Įither way, I decided to make some custom SMW small Mario & Luigi player graphics because I was unhappy with the options currently available (none of them really seem to match all that well).
